Cooper's first day of school

I was starting to think that I might not make it to Cooper's first day of Kindergarten. Once Noah started school Cooper turned into a crazy "I want to start kindergarten monster"... it was an incredibly long week for the both of us, actually all of us, Noah and Tyson suffered too. But thank goodness we all made it. And Cooper has the best class ever. His best buddy Evan is in there and half his pre-school class, and all but 5 of the kids in his class are from our neighborhood. His teacher is amazing and he loves every min. In fact most days he tells me he wishes he could stay and eat lunch there.
Cooper is such a funny kid, he is so full of personality. We were lucky to have a great pre-school teacher that embarrassed his quirkyness, so I was worried about Kindergarten, but so far it's been great. I can't wait to watch him grow and learn this year.
Cooper got to pick his breakfast for the first day. He picked Cinnamon Cake. To bad he's not excited :)

Cooper and his buddy Evan lining up. It was so cute to see all those kindergarteners lined up. They seem so young.
First day of school was a success. They both still have smiles on their faces.

Last Boating trip of the summer

This summer flew by way to fast. It was one of those summers we can look back at and say we didn't waste a minute of it. Between boating, Seven Peaks passes, and family we had a summer full of fun. We had one more boating trip planned and luckily Tommy was around for this one. The boys love boating with their Dad... he usually bribes them to do something dumb and they get a kids meal out of it! It was such a great day to be out on the lake. We were so tired by the end of the day we literally couldn't hold on a min longer. Plus Tommy and I had a 55 mile bike ride to do the next morning. Thank goodness for good sleep.I love Noah's face in this picture. He loves the tube, but you can tell he's so afraid to fall off.
What a handsome kid!
Tommy jumped the wake and landed on top of Kiara.
Then he decided to try and board her tube...
And this is what happens when you board someone's tube... Yes Kiara's watching Tommy fly off.

Tommy water skiing.
My Dad water skiing. It was nice to have smooth water for a little bit. We really haven't had smooth water all year.
Kiara going off the tube
Tommy was so exhausted at the end of the day he couldn't even get in the boat. Cooper took it as let's climb all over Dad and torture him.

Noah's first day of school

Noah started the 4th grade this year. I honestly can not believe my baby boy is so grown up. This year was a little bit of a struggle having to go back to school. Last year he had a teacher that was so nice, but had also been teaching for many years, so I think Noah was bored to tears by the end of the year. But this year he has Miss Norris - she just graduated and is very cute ;)

Miss Norris is so excited to be teaching school. Noah comes home every day excited about the things they are doing. I'm so grateful for a good teacher!!
