Sledding with the family

What a fun way to spent a day with you're cousins. We just walked up to Cascade Park for an afternoon of sledding, and of course a snowball fight. As you can see from all the pictures it was a blast.

Park City Skeleton Race

We got the chance to go watch Noelle in the Skeleton World Cup race up in Park City. It was so much fun to be up there and watch her take the bronze medal - Go Noelle! The boys always love going up there, not only to watch the skeleton racers fly by at warp speed, but also to play with their buddies Jayden and Skyler.

Cooper just chillin' out eating his sucker... just he does look like a smoker.

Janson, Noelle, and Lacee. Noelle's sporting her bronze medal - way to go!

Hair cuts...

Both boys desperately needed hair cuts, but didn't want them. Noah had a dream of letting his hair grow longer, but as you can see it just wasn't working for him. Here's a picture of them before their hair got buzzed off! Noah's way ticked, he's such a funny kid.

Happy 3rd birthday to Cooper!

We let Cooper pick the activity he wanted to do for his birthday and as you can see he picked snowshoeing. My mom, Kiara, and Tommy's dad joined us for the trip up to South Fork. It was such a beautiful day for snowshoeing and Cooper (along with everyone else) had a blast. Then we had some family over for dinner that night, and don't forget Cooper's baseball cake... the most important part of his birthday, at least in his world.

Fun with our new camera

These pictures were taken just a couple of miles from our house. A frost had come through the night before so all the trees were covered in white. It was such a beautiful morning.

Happy New Years!

What a great year 2008 was. We were able to move into our house at the beginning of the year, which we are so grateful we moved here. We love how beautiful it is, along with being able to get to a grocery store and only have 2 stop signs and a 5 min drive. Tommy has been blessed with a great job that we both really enjoy the amount of time he has at home with me and the boys. Noah started 1st grade and has a wonderful teacher. He is so smart and continues to surprise me with what he's learned, figured out, and wants to know how it works. Cooper has grown so much. Thanks to getting tubes in his ears back in Feb he now sleeps through the night (most of the time) and is starting to talk like crazy. He still has a ways to go, but is making great progress. Plus we have such great family and friends. What a wonderful year. We can only hope 2009 brings as many blessings and wonderful memories.

Here are a few pictures from our New Years Eve extravaganza at our friends (the Willards) house. Food, Friends, and Fun... it doesn't get any better than that.

Swimming with Grandpa Phil

We had a post Christmas party down at my Dad's. The kids enjoyed a fun afternoon of swimming. We had a great dinner followed by the all exciting game playing... it really is exciting playing with Tommy because he cheats so bad and we all love to try and catch him.

Fun in the snow!

Thanks to all the wet heavy snow our trampoline was sagging under all the weight, so we spent an afternoon cleaning it off, which in turn lead to a snowball fight. It's even more exciting when Tommy has the snowball launcher and Noah loves to challenge his dad's throwing ability. Cooper goal was just to see how many times he could jump in a row before he slipped and fell down. Tommy launching snowballs at Noah.
The snowball nailing Noah in the back.
Help I can't get up!

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas morning (that didn't start until 7am) and everyone was excited about what they got. Both Noah and Cooper would have been perfectly happy with just the toys Santa brought, but they're slowing playing with everything they got. Tommy's parents made us breakfast, which was delicious! We had a great visit with Tommy's grandparents. Then over to my Mom's for more presents, fun, and a great dinner. We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas. We are so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends!

Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas Eve. Tommy's parents came out to spend the night with us. We had some great dinner followed by games, making cookies for Santa, reading stories, and the new tradition the Gingerbread house. The boys were also good enough for 'Jingles' (our family elf) to bring them new Christmas pajamas. We really had a great Christmas

Our Anniversary Trip to Zions

Tommy and I were able to spend 3 days down in Zions to celebrate our 8th anniversary. We stayed at the Desert Pearl Inn (which we highly recommend). We have always wanted to see Zions in the winter with snow and our dream came true. The only thing we didn't get was a day of sunshine for better picture, but we were just grateful for the snow.

The new addition to the family...

a Cannon SLR camera. We've wanted one for years but just had to wait until the price dropped, and we finally decided to get it as a joint Anniversary/Christmas present. We absolutely love it! Here is a one of the first pictures Tommy took. If you look closely you can see the dust on our plant. It's amazing!
